I've been here several times a year for about 20 years. Spent many good nights in the bar playing pool, listening to music watching hillbillies arguing and beating each other up. (Seriously. I once watched two seventy year old dudes wrestle each other into the pool table. One even lost his eye patch.....) The food has always been decent, as well as the service, though the menu is limited and they are often out of more than one of the menu items. It's where I typically choose for a better meal in the greater island park area. The bad? I don't know who the pack rat is that buys all of the tacky western trinkets and clothing in the middle of the night from the QVC clearance show, but good lord! It's getting ridiculous over the last 5 years and is starting to look like a dimly lit Cracker Barrel. (That's not a good thing) Our waitress tonight was very busy, very patient and very likable. Thank you for being there.

Burger was fantastic! Stopped here while snowmobiling. Service was fast and friendly and food was great.

Good food, fair prices, great staff, and old style traditional saloon. Specials daily and a menu from burgers to steaks and comfort food. Good variety of snacks(meals) in the saloon. Hours vary except during the season. Come see Connie and the gang. Hwy 20 at north Big Springs road in beautiful Island Park.
